Mailing lists & IRC

Sourceforge mailing lists services are deployed as our main discussion lists. Currently three mailing lists are established. Meanwhile, an IRC channel on the FreeNode (OPN) network (irc.freenode.net), #scim is maintained and populated by the developers of SCIM project and warm hearted end users.

Mailing Lists

Before posting to any of the lists (except for scim-cvs which is readonly), please join it first, otherwise your email will get rejected.

scim-user

End user discussion area, including all aspects of using SCIM project packages.

Subscribe to/Unsubscribe from/Preferences of scim-user. Archives can be browsed.

scim-devel

Discuss anything about development of libscim, its components and other related applications/packages. This is meant for developers.

scim-cvs

All CVS commit logs are sent to this mailing list. (read only)

IRC Channel

We also run an IRC channel on the FreeNode (OPN) network (irc.freenode.net), #scim. If you want to have a chat with some of the developers, feel free to come and discuss your complains/praises/concerns and/or suggestions. Your questions may not be answered for some time, but with some patient, it will be answered finally. Logs of the channel is also available online.
