An online survey is taking place 10-25 November 2005 to give users a chance to
provide feedback on their experiences using SCIM for input.
A dedicated IRC channel for SCIM project is established in freenode.net, called #scim.
Recently two new developers were joined SCIM project: William J Beksi and cooleyes. scim-ccinput was brought in as a new sub-project of SCIM by cooleyes. In addition, a forcast for upcoming releases is covered as well.
Lately Haojun Bao joined SCIM project with a ported fcitx to SCIM platform: scim-fcitx. He is in charge of the maintance of the port. Other news includes news about a new mailing list and a new online survey.
The FAQ section, as the second stage of the Wiki part implementation, was just finished. Please do not hesitate to contribute. In addition, a privilege bug of this site was fixed and a new online survey question was published. A new preview screen shot of next skim release demonstrating transparent feature was uploaded too.
Documentation is one of the most wanted missing materials for SCIM project, so the first stage of Wiki section in this site is to implement a collaberative documentation area. Now this task has been fulfilled and here we go!

Just discovered that self-registered users do not have enough privileges to add comments and use the top two options in their Account toolbox on the right. These have been fixed.
A new article about supporting SCIM project financially was published in the Development/Contribute section.
