scim 1.3.0 is available for testing.
I happily announce that the long waiting version scim 1.3.0 is now available for testing. Please download the source tarball from http://sf.net/projects/scim and test it.
Lots of changes were made since scim 1.2.x. Please check ChangeLog file for details. Following are major changes:
- IMEngine Filter interface was fully implemented, including a Proof of Concept Filter, Simplified-Traditional Chinese conversion.
- Support of various keyboard layout was added into scim::KeyEvent.
- Panel client operations have been abstracted into class PanelClient.
- New virtual method scim::IMEngineInstance::update_client_capability() was added.
- Many bugfixes.
Please test it as much as you can and give us feedback.
If all things are ok, scim 1.4.0 would be available within one month.
All IMEngine modules must be recompiled against the new scim package. Please report on our devel maillist if some of them could not be compiled.
