Insert Web Link
This tool
should only be used to insert text links pointing to document not residing within this site (external resources), or to anchors in the current page. For other internal links, please see <Insert/Modify Object>.
This tool will insert a link to the text you selected in the edit area. After selecting a span of text, clicking the button
, a window like the right one will popup. You can specify the URL and the target. The default value of target is "Same frame (_self)". Click
will insert the link and return to the edit area, otherwise
will just return without any modification to the original editing content. URL should start with a protocol (http:// or ftp:// etc), or # if it is linking to an anchor in the current page.
