Installation of SCIM on Debian
Relatively up-to-date SCIM packages is found in the unstable (sid) flavor of main Deian distribution. (1.4.4-1+b1 as of May 2006)
Newer "experimental" packages may also be found from http://chinese.alioth.debian.org/scim-experimental/.
