Why aren't characters I've input appearing in my KDE/Qt applications?
Details of the problem
If skim is loaded successfully, you can trigger input method and input with SCIM, but the commited characters do not appear in the KDE/Qt applications, then please try:
Solution
Make sure the
setting of Qt is "Over The Spot". You can change this by invoking "qtconfig",
tab, at the bottom of this page.
